Apple released iOS 6.0.1 with a couple of bug fixes on the 1st of November and the same iOS 6.0 tethered jailbreak seemed to work perfectly on it, though only on pre-A5 devices. Still the developers haven’t been able to break-into Apple’s rock-solid iOS 6 to develop an untethered jailbreak for it but now, it looks like p0sixninja may have struck gold. Just early today we reported that according to p0sixninja, the chances for an untethered seemed grim but now, he looks to have got a lead on it.
P0sixninja just recently replied to a tweet on Twitter through his twitter handle (@p0sixninja) saying that he’d uncovered a BootROM exploit for Apple’s A5, A5X, A6 and A6X processors.
Here is what he said,
“… not much left to do but find a few more addresses and a bit more luck.”Apparently, the processors after A4 are proving to be a lot of trouble for the devs so it is really good news that p0sixninja has got hold of BootROM exploit for them.
