If you have been a Mac user for quite some time, you will definitely be accustomed to Sparrow. It is a beautiful email client that entices Apple Mail users to switch to itself on Mac computers. Sparrow for iPhone was recently released and very well received. Today the app has been updated and it now comes with the much awaited POP support.

When Sparrow for iPhone was initially launched, it was a bit incomplete. The app did not feature push notifications or POP support. However a week after that we posted a tutorial on how to enable push notifications in Sparrow for iPhone.

A minor update of this app was released a few weeks back. It finally came with push notifications however POP support was still missing. With today's update, this feature has been at last added to this great email client for iPhone. Now Sparrow for iPhone comes with full IMAP and POP support, meaning it can support just about any email provider.

To be able to run Sparrow on your iPhone, you must have a device that is capable of running iOS 5 or higher. The app can be purchased from iTunes App Store for $2.99.
