Add iOS 6 Photo Sharing Menu In iOS 5 With This Jailbreak Tweak

It has barely been a week since Apple announced iOS 6, the next major update of it's iOS platform. The new update brings a plethora of new features. A new photo sharing menu is one of them. Having used iOS 6 beta 1, I can assure you that the menu is spot on in terms of functionality. Now thanks to a jailbreak tweak, you can add iOS 6 photo sharing menu in iOS 5.

If you don't already know, Apple only seeds beta firmware to developers. Meaning that non-developers such as majority of those reading this article don't have access to iOS 6 beta 1. However thanks to the jailbreak community we are able to somewhat try the new features that Apple has added in iOS 6.

As mentioned above, a new photo sharing menu is one of these features. NobitaZZZ, a jailbreak tweak developer, has created a tweak called iOS 6 Photos Menu. It is available for free from the BigBoss repository. What this tweak does is that it replaces that old photo sharing menu of iOS 5 with the new one that Apple has introduced in iOS 6.

Since this is a third-party jailbreak tweak, it obviously differs from Apple's offering. First off, notice the absence of Photo Stream. Furthermore iOS 6 Photos Menu tweak contains option for sharing to Google Plus as well, a network that Apple has not integrated in iOS 6.

The tweak is available as a free download from Cydia. If you like what it has to offer, get downloading right now!
