The iPad is a phenomenal device. It is best at everything it does. Given it's impressive screen real estate and the fact that the New iPad has a Retina Display, the iPad is also the perfect device for looking at your favorite pictures on the move. Here is how you can easily send pictures from iTunes to your iPad.
To start transferring pictures to your iPad using iTunes, you'll obviously need an iPad. You'll also need a Windows or Mac computer that has iTunes installed. You'll need a USB cable to connect your iPad to the computer so that the following steps can be done in order to transfer pictures to iPad from iTunes.

Step 1: Add all of the pictures you want to transfer to iPad in a new folder
Step 2: Now plug in your iPad to the computer and from iTunes, select your device from the menu bar on the left
Step 3: Now click on the Photos tab on the top bar
Step 4: Next to Sync Photos from, there's a button clicking which will enable you to choose the folder you created in Step 1
Step 5: After choosing the folder, click on Apply to begin transfer of pictures from iTunes to iPad

When you transfer photos to iPad from iTunes using this method, a folder will automatically be created within Photos app on your iPad. If the folder from where you synced photos had subfolders with pictures in them, those will be synced as well. This is by far the easiest method you can use to transfer pictures to iPad using iTunes.
