No Badges Jailbreak Tweak For iOS Removes All Home Screen Badges

Some people are really picky about several things. Some just want things the right way, while others don't want their things to move an inch. For some iPhone, iPad and iPod touch owners, having badges on the Home screen of their device is just absolutely mind numbing. Their calls for mercy have finally been heard. No Badges jailbreak tweak for jailbroken iOS devices will remove all Home screen badges automatically.

If you have no idea what Home screen badges on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch are, you are in desperate need of an iOS 101 course. Home screen badges, or notification badges as they're more commonly referred to as, are the little numbers in small red circles you appear on apps whenever these apps want to notify you about something. These badges may appear on the App Store icon when updates for installed apps are available, or on the icon when an OTA update for your device is available. Same goes for third party apps as well.

While most people are just too lazy to even notice them, let alone figure out of ways to get rid of them, these badges drive control freaks like me crazy. Lucky for us, well known developer chpwn has developed a tweak which can be downloaded via the BigBoss repository in Cydia. The No Badges jailbreak tweak for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch will automatically get rid of all annoying notification badges from the Home screen.

So all you need is a jailbroken iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Simply launch Cydia and search for No Badges jailbreak tweak. Chpwn has made this tweak available free of cost, which gives people like me all the more reason to start downloading. If, unfortunately, you don't know how to jailbreak an iOS device, follow this full easy step by step guide.
