If there's one event that developers look forward to attending all year, without a doubt it has to be the annual Worldwide Developers Conference hosted by Apple. Developers flock in massive numbers to this event and as always, Apple rarely fails to impress. While the company hasn't revealed any finer details, it is expected that WWDC 2012 will take place on June 11 and will end on June 15, 2012.

The annual Worldwide Developers Conference is a very important event, both for developers and the company itself. Apple, with the exception of last year, has announced it's new iPhones at this event. As always, it is being expected of the company to unveil iPhone 5 at WWDC 2012.

Apple is a very traditional company, a company which has strict preferences. They have almost always used Moscone West in San Francisco, California as the venue. Apple's event at this venue are disguised under the "corporate meeting" moniker before details are made public. A very interesting discovery has been made which just might let us know when the company plans on hosting WWDC 2012.

The image above is a screenshot of the online events calendar of Moscone West. It explicitly shows that levels 1-3 are booked from June 11 till June 16 for a corporate meeting of convention / tradeshow type. It should be kept in mind that last year the show took place at this exact same venue on June 7.

Apple always offers a glimpse of it's future mobile and desktop software at WWDC conference. This year wouldn't be any different. What most of us do look forward to, is whether or not Apple will announce the anxiously awaited new iPhone 5 at this event.
