While the world awaits release of iPad 3 on March 7, a new report has brought our attention towards the Macbook Pro lineup that is up for refresh this year. This report claims that Apple will announce new Macbook Pro models next month and that they will be similar in design to the extraordinarily thin Macbook Air.
Digitimes report only talks about thinner 13 and 15-inch Macbook Pro models. Nothing was rumored about the 17-inch model. However one thing is for sure, the new Macbook Pro lineup can never be as thin as the Macbook Air. There may exist a considerable difference in thinness though.
It is expected that all Mac computers in 2012 will be refreshed and Intel's upcoming Ivy Bridge processors will be added. Intel has not yet released its Ivy Bridge processors but if this report is anything to go by, Apple might become the first company to use Intel's next generation quadcore processors in its computers.
