In less than twelve years, Apple has revolutionized the way people listen to music and view films. It all started with the first iPod release more than a decade ago. Fast forward to the present and now Apple has the ability to bring full 1080p film trailers on the New iPad's gorgeous Retina Display. Today Apple updated the iTunes Trailers App for precisely this purpose.
iTunes Movie Trailers puts the newest and most exclusive movie previews in HD in your hands. Browse trailers, clips, and featurettes for the biggest Hollywood blockbusters and independent cinema; view stunning HD photos; explore a year-long calendar of movie releases; find showtimes near you and get ticket info directly from your iPad or iPhone.Apple aptly describes the iTunes Trailers App in the App Store description. Using this free app, you can now watch trailers and previews in full 1080p HD. Previously, this was not possible but now due to the fact that New iPad has a Retina Display, Apple brings 1080p HD video trailers and previews.
Apple has done some amazing things with this display. The Retina Display on New iPad actually has 1 million more pixels than a standard 1080p HD television. The display has 264 pixels per square inch. The pixel density is so high that it is impossible for the naked human eye to distinguish an individual pixel. This means that to the eye, the display is bright, clear and downright amazing. The display doesn't come cheap, it was recently revealed that the Retina Display on New iPad happens to be the most expensive component as it costs $90 a piece.
