How to fix Alarm Clock Bug on iPhone? Earlier today, Engadget posted that some iPhone users experiencing Alarm Clock problem since the new year has started. According to the post, iPhone users who are on iOS 4.2.1 or less experienced these kind of problems.

Every 1st day of the new year iPhone users face an Alarm Clock issues on their iPhone. What is the problem exactly ? If you set an Alarm, the Alarm will fail to activate by itself. These issues also arose when Day light saving is done in the year. However, These types of issues was seen in iOS 4.2.1 and even earlier devices. When various articles was published about this problem. Apple replied to this problem:
We’re aware of an issue related to non repeating alarms set for January 1 or 2. Customers can set recurring alarms for those dates and all alarms will work properly beginning January 3.
So, There is an alternative for you, if you want to get rid of this problem simply update your device to latest iOS version. Updating the device is very simple, just connect your iPhone with iTunes and press the update button. However, if you are using an iPhone 3G then you will be left in the cold. You can wait for January 3 to get this problem fixed.
