How to Enable Facetime over 3G on iPhone 4 running iOS 5 / 5.0.1 ? One of the flaw of Facetime feature was that you can only Call over Wi-Fi. iPhone 4 users wasn't able to call over 3G. But thanks to the iPhone Dev team who has found a bug in iOS 5.0.1 and so were able to activate Facetime over 3G for iPhone 4. Follow the steps carefully to activate Facetime over 3G on iPhone 4 running iOS 5.0.1
Requirements:
1. The very step is to jailbreak your iPhone 4 on iOS 5.0.1. you can follow our step by step guide to jailbreak your iPhone 4 on iOS 5.0.1
2. After successfully jailbreaking, Open up Cydia and search for the iFile. Download and install it on your device.
3. In iFile, Navigate to the following folder,

You wrote wrong on: "3Gevenice" - the correct one should be "3Gvenice"
Okay I did what it said and it does not work. Can you help?
It doesn't work! After doing this when you try to use facetime over 3G appears a message that says “facetime failed, please connect to a Wi-Fi network to use FaceTime”
thanks Anounymous, you have to enter "3Gvenice" not "3Gevenice" and it should work tested!
Just got a brick after doing this.
Ifile destroyed my sprinboard file.
And now I cant get the iphone to work.
tried to restore but errors coming from 1602 to I dont remember what.
any idea how can I fix it?
tried redsnow, ireb, snowbreeze.

In addition to the typo ("3Gvenice", not "3Gevenice"), a reboot worked for me
Works Perfect.
I copied the "venice" key and pasted a new one below it with 3Gvenice, performed a "killall -l SpringBoard" and it works PERFECTLY.
i put both code u guy give us it keep said erorr ?
make sure you paste the new text under the 'dict' line, otherwise you will brick your phone.
Be advised. This also bricked my phone. Luckily a re-jailbreak worked me out of it.
Do i have to do this if i have 3g unrestrictor installed for example or face time facebreak?
