Can't Restore iPhone from Backup after 5.0.1 untethered Jailbreak ? Well, “Restoring from a previous backup” is what we do every time after updating or restoring our iPhone. Restoring iPhone 4, 3GS from previous backup is pretty easy, because after updating your iPhone, iTunes will ask you either to restore from a previous backup or set as a new device. Pod2g released an untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 so all the users had to update their devices to iOS 5.0.1 before jailbreaking it.

Unluckily, Many users were facing a problem, After updating to iOS 5.0.1 and jailbreaking by redsn0w, they can’t restore their device from the previous backup. So, we have found a solution for this problem. You can follow the following steps to fix this problem.
