How to Use Wi-Fi Sync for iPhone, iPad, & iPod touch with iOS 5? iOS 5 introduced many new features as Wi-Fi syncing which is one of the most awaited features on the list. The pre-iOS 5 world had to sync an iOS device to iTunes using a white USB cable which was one of the most irritating things.

Now you can use your iPhone's Personal Hotspot feature to sync your iOS device with a Mac without a cable or a Wi-Fi router. Assuming you tethered added to your data plan, your iPhone will give you the option to use it as a Wi-Fi base station via the Personal Hotspot option. After this is turned out , it will allow you up to 5 devices to use on the iPhone as an internet connection, and it also means that all the devices attached can interact with each other.

So it is possible to actually Wi-Fi sync any iDevice with PC or Mac using the iPhone as a router. And if you are a road warrior with an iPhone , a Mac , and no data cable, this feature would be of great use to you.
