Skype has integrated with Facebook to enable Facebook to Facebook video calling directly on the social network’s site. Two versions of Skype were released by Microsoft on Friday, the Skype 5.4 Beta for Mac and Skype 5.7 Beta for Windows O.S.

You can now bring your conversations to life on Facebook. With Facebook and Skype combined connecting with loved ones all over the globe has never been easier. All you need to do is link your Facebook account with Skype, complete a quick one time video and audio setup on Facebook and you are ready to video chat with your friends on Facebook. Video calling a friend can be done by simply clicking the “Call” button at the top of your friend’s profile.

"This new feature lets you maintain social connections with your Facebook friends and complements previously announced features such as being able to see when your Facebook friends are online, read their status updates, and IM them all from Skype," said Rick Osterloh (VP, Product & Design at Skype)
Facebook and Skype first started working together in the beginning of this year. The new versions of Skype include some additional features too. Video rendering technology which provides a better video quality is added in the mac version while the windows version has been updated with Screen Sharing feature that allows multiple users to appear on the screen.

The beta clients are available for download on Skype’s Website. Download it today and start connecting with your Facebook Friends like never before.
