Couple of days back, security researcher Charlie Miller discovered a security flaw in iOS which allows any app to remotely control your iPhone. This security flaw wiould allow iPhone 4S jailbreak, iOS 5 untethered jailbreak and iPad 2 jailbreak dramatically easier.
That what pod2g tweeted earlier today, he warned people from updating to iOS 5.0.1 since it will include a fix for that security flaw which allows finding jailbreak exploits.
The iOS 5.0.1 update should be out in few days to fix battery issues found in iPhone 4S and iOS 5. If you care about the next iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and iOS 5 untethered jailbreak, then it's better not to update to iOS 5.0.1.
Pod2g added that a developer will add the new features in iOS 5.0.1 to a Cydia tweak so it can be available without upgrading to iOS 5. This Cydia tweak would fix the battery issues and add new features that iOS 5.0.1 would bring.

I hate waiting :(:( I have been waiting for 5 months for untethered jb for ipad 2 bcuz when I bought it the IPSW was 4.3.5 and till now there is no untethered jb for it... plzzz guys release the jb as fast as u can :s
