The users of iPod nano would be pleasantly surprised as they plug their devices into their computers and are asked to please upgrade their device to the new device software version 1.0.3. Despite its focus being majorly on high- yield products like the iPhone, iPad and the iPod Touch, Apple apparently still has not forgotten its loyal iPod nano users and thus the software update.
The new software version does not only fix bugs but also brings in multiple new options like the option to turn Cover Flow off if the user wants to. It also provides for full functionality with Apple's new in-ear headphones with remote and mic as well as the regular earphones with remote and mic. The instability issues that arose with the use of the Nike+iPod dongle have also been fixed by Apple in this upgrade.
The software update is approximately 58 MB in size and is requested by iTunes as soon as you plug in your device. The upgrade is recommended because it also fixes many minor issues that were encountered with the previous version. It has been tested and found to be pretty safe to use and has no known compatibility or accessibility issues.
