Apple intends to release curved glass displays to its iOS devices nearly next year, according to a new report. The Cupertino company has reportedly invested in glass polishing hardware for its suppliers that will enable them to produce the first curved glass device in the first half of 2012.

Apple reportedly also has bought glass polishing equipment for its suppliers in preparation for the production of devices fitted with curved cover glass. Lens Technology, Fuji Crystal, G-Tech are said to be major cover glass suppliers of Apple. While Lens and Fuji focus on iPhones, G-Tech supplies mainly for iPad.According to cultofmac
This isn’t the first time that iOS devices with curved glass displays have been the subject of speculation, however. Back in May, Apple had reportedly purchased 200-300 glass cutting machines for the purpose of curved glass displays, helping its suppliers cover the expensive cost of the equipment.Previously, rumors suggested that Apple will release iPhone 5 with curved glasses , but it looks like we will see it in iPhone 6 .
