Yesterday, Apple finally launched iCloud.com for developers. iCloud.com now lets developers access to Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Find My iPhone, and iWork through this new website. Apple also revealed prices its going to charge to extra iCloud storage.
So when developers go to iCloud.com, it is required for them to move their MobileMe account over to iCloud. However, this hasn't been working for many users, considering the fact that its still in beta. Only a limited people have been able to gain access as yet to iCloud.com.
By default, Apple is giving 5 GB of free storage to everyone with an Apple ID for storing Photos, Contacts, Mail, Calendar and iWork projects. However if need arises, you can also purchase additional storage by paying the following prices:
- Additional 10GB = $ 20/yr
- Additional 20GB = U.S. $ 40/year
- Additional 50GB = U.S. $ 100/year
